Westwood Station
SEB was retained by Cabot, Cabot and Forbes as part of the project team working on Westwood Station which includes 4.5 million sf of mixed use development on 135 acres. As part of the development plan, 1,000 units of residential housing are planned including an affordability component featuring both rental and for-sale units designated for both affordable and moderate income individuals. SEB has been retained to work on behalf of CCF in conjunction with the Town in developing the requisite affordability language to govern all aspects of project affordability. In addition, SEB is serving as the master lottery agent for the project’s affordable and moderate income units.
Southfield
SEB was retained by LNR Property Corporation – the master developer of a $1 billion, 12-year redevelopment of the 1400-acre former South Weymouth Naval Air Station in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, which is a Federal Superfund site. Southfield will include approximately 2,000 units of housing, a village center, a campus for bioscience and light industry, a multi-modal center at an existing commuter rail station, a golf course and substantial recreational amenities. SEB is working jointly with LNR in developing the appropriate affordable housing policy guidelines and regulations to govern the affordable housing component of the project. SEB is also providing direction relative to the affordable housing lottery for both the affordable and moderate income units.
Wayland Town Center
SEB was retained by the Congress Group and KGI – the master developers of a 370,000 square foot mixed use project of a former Raytheon industrial site. The project calls for between 150 and 200 units of housing, in addition to retail and commercial uses. SEB was involved in the preparation process required to gain Town Meeting Vote – which ultimately approved the project. In addition, SEB will serve as the master lottery agent for the affordable housing units.
