brian engler, associate

Brian joined SEB as an associate in April 2004. Since returning home to the Boston area and joining SEB, Brian has coordinated SEB's lottery and buyer and tenant selection projects. To date, he has worked with potential buyers or renters of affordable homes or rental units in the towns of Pembroke, Canton, Dartmouth and Whitman. In addition, he has also assisted in the review and certification of recipients of scholarships under a scholarship program offered by an SEB client that is developing a 1,750 unit continuing care retirement community in Hingham, MA. Brian also works with SEB principals to provide affordable housing development services on comprehensive permit projects and other mixed income housing developments.

Brian graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1999 and lived and worked in Chicago for four years following graduation. During that time, he gained insight into the development process working as an assistant development manager for THRUSH in Chicago. He also gained insights on human nature and the urban environment by working in Michigan Avenue and Wrigleyville restaurants, providing mixology and daily financial reports. Throughout his college years, Brian held various summer positions in archtectural and civil engineering firms where he assisted in drafting design development drawings for residential projects and integrating drawings with engineer’s reports. The SEB family is pleased to welcome another member of the Engler family.
